All eyes were on the Vatican on Thursday as Cardinal Robert Prevost became the first-ever American pope, taking the name Pope Leo XIV. So, what do we know about the new pontiff? He was born in Chicago and is a Cubs fan. He is expected to be politically aligned with his predecessor, the late Pope Francis, who was his classmate in the seminary. The new pope is also a dual citizen of the United Stats and Peru.
