Bindi Irwin, daughter of the late wildlife icon Steve Irwin, was unable to attend the annual Steve Irwin Gala Fundraiser in Las Vegas on May 10 after undergoing emergency surgery to remove a ruptured appendix, according to RadarOnline.com. Robert Irwin, Bindi’s younger brother, announced the news, stating, "She’s going to be OK, but surgery – out of all the things we were ready for, that was not one of them."
