Pitt’s name was mentioned when Combs’ former assistant, referred to as "Mia," testified that she witnessed Combs assault his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, during the Cannes Film Festival premiere of Pitt’s film, Killing Them Softly, in 2012. Brad Pitt is not the only celebrity ensnared by this AI misinformation; other figures, including Eddie Murphy and Jim Carrey, have been depicted in fake videos claiming they testified about their experiences at Combs’ "Freak Off" parties.
