Damson Idris and Kerry Condon sit down with “Extra’s” Mona Kosar Abdi to talk about their revved-up new blockbuster “F1.” Damson dished on all the driving, praising director Joe Kosinski and the stunt team for getting them ready and noting, “I’m really driving those cars and trying not to die.” Kerry talked about filming on real racetracks and how “surreal” and somewhat nerve-racking it was to have the real F1 drivers around. Damson got to pick Lewis Hamilton’s brain, revealing he “called BS” on some sequences and provided a lot of encouragement on set. He also shared that his mother was calling him “every two seconds” to check up on him during filming! Plus, Damson recalled the first time he met Brad Pitt while training at Silverstone, praising his humility and amazing advice. “F1” races into theaters June 27.
