Steve Martin on Turning 80, Aging with Martin Short, Only Murders Season 5 & Playing Banjo

Steve talks about being here for the first time without Martin Short, turning eighty years old, how he feels about getting older, his new book Steve Martin Writes the Written Word, Florida banning his novella Shopgirl, shooting season 5 of Hulu’s “Only Murders in the Building,” and Jimmy and Steve’s inner thoughts come out in the middle of the interview. Steve is then joined by fellow banjo player and Grammy-winner Alison Brown. They play some banjo for us and talk about their new single 5 Days Out, 2 Days Back, Alison getting her start playing at Shakey’s Pizza Parlor, and performing at the Hollywood Bowl.
