King Charles III made his first public appearance since Prince Harry’s revealing interview aired, in which the Duke criticized his father over their ongoing royal security dispute. This sighting comes shortly after Harry, 40, gave a candid interview to the BBC, expressing his hope for reconciliation with his father while blaming King Charles and the royal institution for his unsuccessful legal battle over taxpayer-funded security in the U.K.
"I lost my case because of my family," Harry claimed, reflecting on the multi-million-pound fight that concluded unfavorably for him. Royal insiders reported that Charles was open to a private reunion during Harry’s next visit, but the public nature of Harry’s remarks, including comments about the King’s longevity, left Charles feeling "deeply hurt" and "frustrated."
