Four-time Grammy-winning Motown legend Smokey Robinson is facing a $50-million lawsuit for sexual assault. Four of Robinson’s former housekeepers have accused the 85-year-old and his wife of multiple crimes ranging from sexual battery to false imprisonment. The shocking allegations span from 2007 to just last year in 2024. Each of the women describe being attacked in a blue bedroom inside his home. In an added twist, Smokey’s wife Frances is also accused in the suit of perpetuating the hostile workplace, infliction of emotional distress, and other labor violations. Smokey told Daily Mail that he is “appalled” by the lawsuit.
